Maol Buidhe  is a lovely little self catering holiday cottage overlooking a sheltered bay in the Kildalton area of the Isle of Islay near Ardbeg.
It has its own extensive gardens and stretch of shoreline with a small jetty. 

THE COTTAGE IS NOT CURRENTLY AVAILABLE FOR RENT IN 2024 or 2025.

 

Accommodation

• Kitchen with wood burning stove, electric cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, telephone and broadband wifi.
• Living room with wood burning stove and television.
• Bedroom 1 with a double bed.
• Bedroom 2 with two single beds.
• Bathroom with bath and electric shower (accessed through Bedroom 2).
• Sun porch with views to the sea.

Water heating is by the wood burning stove or elecric immersion heater.
Heating is with electric storage heaters. There is no smoking in the cottage and we do not accept pets.
 

Wildlife

Seals and Otters are frequently seen in the bay. Cormorants, shags, eider and  shell ducks  are some of the sea birds seen  along the coast.

 

Prices

Jan - April £400 per week

May - Sep  £500 per week

Oct - Dec   £400  per week

Price includes electricity, linen, towels.
